Upstate New York is blessed with beautiful fall foliage each autumn, and the grounds of the Marist Brothers Retreat House are no exception. As the days have gotten colder, the trees around our property have turned many shades of yellow, red, and orange. We hope you enjoy these photos of the wonderful fall colors that have decorated the Retreat House property for the past few weeks.

The Fall 2007 Marist Encounter was another huge success. Approximately 70 high school seniors from Marist schools in the New York City area were in attendance as they further developed their spiritual life and relationship with God. Many of the students were highly impacted by the retreat as it comes at a time in their life when they are preparing to make big decisions. We pray that now that they have experienced the Encounter, they will turn to God and trust in Jesus as they come to these crossroads. The weekend consisted of talks and presentations from former Encounterites, small and large group discussions, self-reflection,singing, ice breakers, and walks down to the river.
